Prestigious Southern California healthcare institution seeking senior level security engineer to help lead design, development, and deployment efforts for new best-in-class AWS cloud security environments. Assist the organization identify new areas to leverage automation and provide direction for scripting and testing teams. Recommend commercial, open source, and in-house tools and play a leadership role during implementation.

*REMOTE ENGINEERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IF THEY ARE OUTSTANDING BUT LOCAL ENGINEERS TO THE LOS ANGELES METRO AREA ARE PREFERRED*

Required experience:

– 4 years cloud solutions experience including expert knowledge of AWS services, management, tools and models

– 5 years hands-on experience as an IT security engineer

– Command line experience with linux, and AWS CLI

Highly Desired Experience:

– HIPAA compliance knowledge

– NIST Cyber Security Framework
