We are a Downtown Manhattan based healthcare startup which is growing at a very rapid pace. We are at the point now, where we need to hire a dedicated full time permanent Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer. Though our company is small, we have an amazing client base and are most definitely profitable right now. We provide great benefits, training, and a real growth plan to our employees. Your work duties will include :

• Making sure the site us up and running
• Automation Scripting to make your work easier
• Scale our network as we grow
• Secure our network
• Evaluate our storage process and then make suggestions to modernize it
• Be our go to engineer for everything server related

Skills that you will need :

• At least 3+ years of experience with Linux Systems Administration
• Experience with managing high traffic public facing sites
• Web Server experience such as Apache or Nginex
• Bash or Python scripting
• Knowledge and Experience with MySQL
• A passion for cloud technology (AWS, Rackspace, GCP)
• A team player with excellent communication skills

This is a full time permanent position, so please no corp to corp consultants. We are only looking for candidates in the NY / NJ metro area that can do a face to face interview to start.
